GRIMM - ICS/OT Virtual Class | UTC+8

Join the GRIMM ICS/OT Virtual Class June 7th-8th, 2023

After a successful #BlackHatAsia, where CYBER RANGES got to meet with new and familiar faces, we deployed an additional GRIMM Virtual Class for our newly expanded Singapore and APAC communities. Join us and GRIMM for this can’t-miss event and #BeAheadOfTheCyberGame

Join the GRIMM ICS/OT Virtual Class on June 7th-8th, 2023, and obtain a Certificate of Completion, coupled with an Accredible-based digital badge, earning 12 CPE credits upon completion of the course.

GRIMM’s 12-hour hands-on virtual class starts with practical training in understanding basic ICS terminology and infrastructure, followed by crafting and deploying cyber attacks against common types of real-world ICS equipment including HMIs, PLCs, and automated circuit breakers using the Python scripting language.

What You'll Learn

  • Common ICS terminology and system architecture, including inherent flaws and typical mistakes made in system design that should be considered when planning an attack.
  • Modbus and Modbus/TCP architecture and functionality.
  • Python modules for interacting with Modbus-based systems, and writing scripts to interrogate and attack these systems.
  • Defensive methodologies and considerations in the face of how simple these attacks can be to carry out.

Target Audience

Those with an IT background looking to understand the differences between Operational Technology (OT) and IT and the fundamentals of how attacks against ICS equipment are commonly carried out.
